Managing multiple Etsy shops: one account per shop
Can you have several Etsy shops on one account? No. Etsy’s help center, read on October 19, 2026, says you can run several shops at once, but each needs its own account.
01What Etsy requires
- A separate Etsy account for each shop, with a separate email address. Each account can have only one shop and one email address at a time.
- You must list all the shops you run in the public profile section of each account.
- Each account must comply with the Seller Policy.
02What you can share
You can use the same credit card for seller registration and the same bank account for Etsy Payments. Use the same taxpayer ID and address where applicable. Etsy has no way to move information from one shop to another or to combine shops on one account.
03A practical note
Etsy says most browsers will not keep you signed in to several Etsy accounts at once, and suggests using a different browser for each account.
04A rule to respect
The Seller Policy says not to create duplicate shops to manipulate search or get around Etsy’s rules. A second shop should have a real purpose, such as a different brand or a different line of products.
05Where the time goes
More shops means more orders to place, more tracking numbers and more messages, and one sign-in per shop. A simple routine helps:
- Morning: see which sales need an order, and validate the payments.
- During the day: answer the messages that wait for a reply.
- Evening: look at the numbers.
How Sereane helps
Sereane gathers your shops in one place: sales to order, tracking and messages in a single view, and revenue for the whole group with the detail per shop. Shared settings, such as your target profit, are set once. There is no limit on the number of shops. Sereane does not change Etsy’s requirements: each shop keeps its own Etsy account.
Example: made-up figures and items.
